Office 2011 Mac: Excel or word open multiple files on startup

Problem. Your word or excel in Office 2011 suite for mac are opening an infinite amount of files on statup. Restarting the computer of chaning pref in system pref is not working.

Solution: Go to ~/Library/Saved Application State/com.microsoft."Excelorword.savedState . Throw this file away. Now try to start your word/excel. Working again ey?

How do i find my Library folder? Hold down your option key (alt) , in Finder click menu GO. With the option key down you can find and click on the library folder.
